IF YOU DON’T PAY, YOU’RE PUT ON THE DELINQUENT CONGREGATIONS LIST!
Yes, you read that right. It’s just like failing to pay your electric bill or your bank loan: JWorg puts congregations on a delinquent “debtor” list.
While they claim they don’t “pass the plate” because? Plates are for amateurs. They have installed a per-head payment system and a network for capturing inheritances that turns faith into a mandatory monthly subscription.
The Monthly “Per-Publisher” Fee (Permanent Resolution):
For years now, the branch has stopped asking for just “whatever is left” in the donation box. Elders are forced to read a resolution where the congregation “commits” to sending a fixed monthly amount. This figure is calculated by multiplying a suggested amount (which varies by country, but is usually around $8 or $15) based on the number of publishers in the congregation.
The Result: If there are 100 publishers, the USA Branch expects to receive its “invoice” of $1,500 every month, no matter what.
“Non-Payment” Notifications (Letters to Debtors):
There are actual letters from the branch (such as the one sent in May 2023) notifying congregations that they “have not recorded donations” for a specific month. These notifications act as a late payment notice from a utility company or a bank, pressuring Elders to give parts on “loyalty” and “generosity” until the brothers cover the deficit.
Mergers due to “Insolvency”(non payment):
If a congregation is small and does not generate enough donations to cover its “monthly fee” and operating expenses, the organization may decide to close or merge it—exactly what agencies do with delinquent debtors. If contributions are insufficient, they use the “resource optimization” argument. In practice, this means closing the least profitable Kingdom Hall, selling the building, and forcing the brothers to travel to another hall that now legally belongs to the Society.
Each KH is basically an forced ATM for JWorg.
The Big Question:
If they don’t “pass the plate” because everything is voluntary, why are monthly accounts reports read stating how much is “missing” to fulfill the approved resolution? This proves that the donation has stopped being a gift and has become a monthly tithe obligation.
Inheritance and Will Vacuum (JW.ORG):
On their official portal donate.jw.org, they don’t just ask for coins. They have legal guides on how to leave them your wills, life insurance, bank accounts, and even properties. They don’t just want your money today; they want to make sure they steal inheritances “sweep up” everything you’ve saved in your life when you die. The Elderly often think this is their “Golden Ticket” to paradise.
